Harold Lloyd Churchill

Harold Lloyd Churchill, age 83, passed from this life Thursday at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Harold lived in Jonesboro since 1952. He was a Christian and a member of Central Baptist Church. Harold worked hard at his nursery and landscape business for his family whom he loved dearly.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Sybil Hale Churchill; brothers, Verlin, Ed, and Charles Churchill, Joe Jimmy and Pete Painter; sisters, Evelyn Churchill and Marie McDonald.

Survivors include wife, Roma of the home; sons, Larry (Suzanne), Gary Churchill, both of Jonesboro, Tony Churchill of Richmond, Virginia; daughter, Kathy Farley of Jonesboro; brother, “Possum” Donald Painter of Stuttgart; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Emerson Memorial Chapel followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Worth Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Tony Churchill, Mark Churchill, Caleb Farley, Jimmy Farley, Kevin Reynolds and Nick Griffin.
