Harlene Kiech Daugherty

July 26, 1948 — March 13, 2006

Harlene Kiech Beason Daugherty, 57, of Jonesboro, died Monday morning at her home of natural causes.

Born in Jonesboro, Mrs. Daugherty was a 1966 graduate of Trumann High School and was a gradate of Arkansas State University. She was a retired elementary school teacher and was a member of Nettleton United Methodist Church.

In the 1960s, Mrs. Daugherty was named Miss Cotton and Miss Poinsett County. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harlan and Sylvia Farmer Kiech.

Survivors include:

2 Sons: John W. Beason, III, and
James Harlan Michael Daugherty, both of Jonesboro;

1 Brother: Clifton Kiech of Trumann; and

1 Grandson: John W. Beason, IV, of Jonesboro.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday morning, March 20, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at City Cemetery in Jonesboro with Rev. Ross Law officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
