Grant Finley, 31, of Jonesboro died April 14, 2015 at his home. He was born November 6, 1983 in Poplar Bluff to Chris Finley and Ginger (Baker) Finley. His parents lived in Jonesboro where Grant resided most of his life. He was such an artistic person whose passion was creating/mixing music and was also a DJ. He enjoyed charcoal drawing and painting with pastels. Grant was an avid collector of nature especially feathers and rocks; he also loved being surrounded by family items of sentiment.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Riley (Evadee) Finley; maternal great-grandparents: Mable (Luther) Boyd and Woodrow (Lucille) Baker; and uncle: William Grant Finley.

Grant is survived by his maternal grandparents: Larry Baker, originally of Jonesboro now residing in Atlanta and Ruby Baker-Schocher, of Jonesboro; father: Chris Finley of Jonesboro; mother: Ginger Baker (John) Thompson of Atlanta; one sister: Caitlyn (Alex) Lorenzana of Jonesboro; one son: Kyle Whitehead of Jonesboro; six uncles: Gene (Tracy) Baker of Jonesboro, Riley Finley, Gary Finley, Jim Finley, Nathan Finley, and Terry Finley; twin nephews; and a host cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Isaac Villalobos officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will include: John Finley, Shawn Finley, Michael Finley, Joe Richardson, David Richardson, and Ryan Singleton.

Honorary pallbearers will include: Gene Baker and Larry Baker.
