Grace Holladay, 96, of Jonesboro, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born in Summertown, Tennessee, she had worked as a CNA in a nursing home. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1964 coming from Newport. She loved dipping snuff, fishing, and playing Bingo. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children; Raymond (Karen) Holladay, Jonesboro, Brenda Hawkins, Trumann, Linda Plamondon, Gaines, Michigan, Roman (Kay) Holladay, Jonesboro, Danny (Kathy) Holladay, Lake City; 24 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons and daughter; William “Zan” Holladay, Carolyn Woods, Millie Kimberland, Richard “Woody” Holladay; and her parents, E.L. & Mollie Wicks Buie.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
