Gordon Lee Bond

Gordon Lee Bond, 67, of Bay, past from this life on February 13, 2023, at his home.  He had lived in Bay, since 1976.  He was born on March 10, 1955, in Oakland, California, to George Lee and Jewanda Bond.  He was of the Baptist belief.  Gordon was a volunteer firefighter for the Bay Fire Department.  He enjoyed working on his vehicles and 4-wheelers in his shop.  His children played sports and he was always one of the coaches.  Spending time with his family and grandkids was his passion.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Bond; his parents and one sister.

Survivors include his son, Kevin Bond and wife Hayley of Monette; daughters, Kristy Bond of Bay; Haley Fults and husband Logan of Bay; five grandchildren, Hunter Bond, Jackson Bond, Abby Bond, Jase Pruett, and River Pruett; one great grandchild, Blakely Fults.

Graveside services will be 10:00, Friday, February 17, 2023, at Philadelphia Cemetery with John Medlock officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers will be Hunter Bond, Logan Fults, Steve Hickey, Jeremy Ashlock, Michael Jackson, and Don Webb.  Honorary pallbearer is Brett Scott. All other services will be private.
