Gloria Jean Rhoads

Gloria Jean Rhoads, 60, of Jonesboro, Arkansas died Monday October 28, 2013 at the NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born in Langdon North Dakota on November 9, 1952 to the late Walter and Agnes Statler Rohde. She lived in Jonesboro, Arkansas since July of this year, moving here from Grand Forks, North Dakota. Gloria was a Pre School Teacher and a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was a loving mother and loved to do quilting, crocheting, traveling, flowers and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 4 grandchildren; Baby Rhoads, Daniel Rhoads Jr., Sean Rhoads and Austin Rhoads.

Survived by her loving husband of 41 years; Jim Rhoads of the home.

Son; Daniel Rhoads (Sheila) of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Daughter; Alicia Olson (Wayne) of Fargo, North Dakota.

Brothers; Raymond Rohde (Kristen) of Fargo, North Dakota and Ted Rohde (Diane) of McVille, North Dakota.

Sisters; Ruth Evenson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Linda Myatt (Dennis) of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Christine Goodwill (Doug) of Winsor, Colorado.

Grandchildren; Dylan and Justin Rhoads and Jacob Olson.

Step daughter; Sara Kelem, and Step Grandchildren; Amber Enmon and Rachel Enmon.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Mon November 4, 2013 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Jack Vue officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home Jonesboro, Arkansas in charge.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Rhoads, Dustin Rhoads, Dennis Myatt, Nick Rhoads, Rick Rhoads and Jim Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Goodwill, Charley Turner and Rick Jacobson.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Sunday November 3 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

A rosary will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday November 3, 2013 at Emerson Funeral Home.
