Gloria Jean Gossett

Gloria Jean Glover Gossett, 80, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010.

She was born May 9, 1929, to the late David D. Glover Jr. and Helen V. Glover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Clarence E. “Ed” Gossett.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Evelyn Miller of Hot Springs; sons, William E. “Bill” Gossett of Jonesboro, Lawrence G. “Larry” Gossett and wife Susan of Little Rock, and Roy D. Gossett and wife Bonita of Heber Springs; and daughter, Beth G. Brown and husband, Michael of Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Timothy’s Anglican Church with the Rev. Michael Mobley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her honor be sent to St. Timothy’s Church, 419 West Highland Drive, Jonesboro 72401.
