Glenn Joseph Leonard

Glenn Joseph Leonard, 90, of Jonesboro, left this life Wednesday April 3, 2024 at Craighead Nursing Center. He was born March 3, 1934 in Damascus, Arkansas to the late Jim and Mary Leonard.

Glenn spent most of his life living in Aubrey, Arkansas and was a faithful member of the Aubrey church of Christ.

He enjoyed working outside, in his peach orchard and garden. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and taking his grandchildren crappie fishing.

In addition to his parents Glenn is preceded in death by his sisters, Vella Pruet, Faye Eddleman, his brothers Elmo, Thomas, Jesse, Billy and Harvey.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Deania of Jonesboro; daughter Sherri Leonard of Vilonia; sons Mark Leonard (Kim) of Mt. View, Marty Leonard (Tina) of Damascus, Jackie Leonard (Mandy) of Bono; one sister, Ann English of Conway as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow the visitation at Nettleton Cemetery with James King officiating. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Tanner Leonard, Trevor Leonard, Cayden Leonard, Eli Leonard, Byron Biggers and Jackson Foust.
