Glenda Jean Sneed

Glenda Jean Sneed, 86, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, peacefully surrounded by her family by her side. She was born in Paragould, Arkansas on October 3, 1935, to the late Leslie and Mary Smith.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ira “Buddy” Sneed; one sister, Mary Louise Smith; one granddaughter, Mary Amanda Howard.

Glenda was survived by her children; Gary Humphrey (Leigh Ann) of Naples, Florida, Rick Humphrey of Jonesboro, Dan Humphrey (Marsha) of Franklin, Carolyn Carter (Jeff) of Ash Flat. Fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great- grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.

She was a longtime, faithful member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesboro. A caring wife, mother, Gran, and friend. She fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Now, in store for her, there is a crown of righteousness. Friend to many, loved by all. She will be dearly missed.

Friends may visit Saturday, November 20, 2021, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel with the service following at 10:30 a.m. with Bro. Gary Henderson officiating. Active Pallbearers will include Scott Humphrey, Michael Humphrey, Taylor Pillow, Chad Hancock, Robert Hazelwood, and Jeff Hazelwood.
