Glenda Leoda (Burke) Romine, 86, of Jonesboro, departed from this life on Friday, October 2, 2026. She was born August 18, 1940, in Harrisburg to the late Hollis Edmond Burke and Beulah Corine (Wiseman) Burke. She was united in marriage to Ed Romine on September 20, 1957.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by a son, Allan Dale Romine.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Cleta) Romine of Clarksville, TN, Lynetta (Al Heimsoth) Romine of Jonesboro, Nathan (Vickie) Romine of Hoxie, grandchildren, Shelly (Bill) Davis, Aalesha (Jason) Drake, Callan (Mandy) Romine, Katie Romine, Bray (Jeremie) Felton, Krystan Bennett (Brandon Morriss), Matt (Jill) Dorton, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: LaVita Polk, LaVon (David) Long, Dwayne (Margaret)Burke, and Derrell (Elaine) Burke, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2026, from 5 until 7 PM at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10 AM at Emerson Funeral Home. Terry Romine and Ken Stallings will officiate. Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Callan Romine, Matt Dorton, Jeremie Felton, Brandon Towery, Owen Stallings, and Matt Stallings. Honorary Pallbearer is Jason Drake.
