Glenda Collins

Glenda Collins 92 of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday May 12, 2006 at the Arbors Nursing Center in Michigan City Indiana.

She was born in Bay, Arkansas and had lived in Bay most of her life until moving to La Porte, Indiana 6 years ago. She was a homemaker and also retired form the Singer Plant in Trumann, Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Collins in 1966 and her parents Eugene and Ann (Mildred) Canoy Siggers, 1 daughter Joylene Southard and 2 grandchildren Charlotte Higdon and Steve Southard.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Sue Southard of La Porte, Indiana, and 2 Grandchildren Karen Jefferies, and Sherry Miller. 4 Great Grandchildren, Lauren Jefferies, Melissa Miller, Mark Higdon, and Brian Higdon. 3 Great Great Grandchildren Blake Higdon, Brandon Higdon, Craig Hobbs.

Graveside Service will be Monday May 15, 2006 at 1:30 P.M. at the Oaklawn Cemetery with Earl Lawson officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge

Active Pallbearers will be the grandchildren

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
