Glenda Dianne Brown

Glenda Dianne Brown, 74, of Jonesboro took her final breath on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones.

Dianne was born June 1, 1949 in Jonesboro to Raymond ‘R.C.’ and Doris Atkinson. She was a faithful member of Nettleton Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, baking, and weekly Bible studies. She demonstrated love and kindness to all she met, and her greatest joy was her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jackie Brown; 2 children, Michael Brown and Cindy (Anthony) Coy; 2 grandchildren, Brandon Coy (James M.) and Madison (Gage) Scudder, of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Garry (Sherry) Atkinson and Michael Atkinson; sister Patricia Allis; as well as cousins, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and friends whom she loved.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Monday, with a private burial to follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
