Wade Talley

Wade Talley, 55, a lifetime resident of Jonesboro, died Thursday, February 5, 2026, at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born in Flint Michigan on November 10, 1970, and was of the Baptist belief. He was very active in weightlifting and racing cars. When in school he played basketball and baseball and was the captain of both squads. He also served as the student body president. He was an accomplished cook and could grill just about anything. Duck hunting was also a favorite sport. He was preceded in death by his brother, Max Tony Talley.

Survivors include his father, Glen Talley (Deannie); mother, Jeannie Seat (Don); wife, Misty Talley; son, Jade Talley; daughters, Racey Talley, all of Jonesboro; Skyla Nelson (Cody) of Paragould; Step-daughters, Kandi (Robert) Rodriguez; of Jonesboro; Sierra Tonymon of Branson; brothers, Scott Goad; Blake Goad, both of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Swayzee and Sage.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 4:00 until 6:00 at Emerson Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Gulley, Jarrod Brown, Mike McGlaughlin, Mitchell Don Caldwell, Carl Winkles, Anthony Minton and Kurt Weiand. All other services will be private.
