Glen David Cole, Sr., 63 of Bay died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Cherry Valley and had lived in Bay for 10 years coming from Jonesboro. He was a retired quality assurance inspector for Razorback Concrete. Glen was of the Baptist belief and enjoyed boating at Greer’s Ferry Lake.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Flossie Cole; a brother, Bobby Cole and a sister, Jean Norwood.
Surviving are his wife Lisa of the home; sons, Glen David Cole, Jr., (Sherry) of Jonesboro; Thomas Harold Cole (Linda) of Okinawa, Japan; Joseph Nolan Cole (Desire) of Suffolk, VA and Joshua Barker of Jonesboro. One daughter Rachel Baker of Bay, Arkansas.
Also surviving are grandchildren Teddy Cole, Glen David Cole, III; Janie Cole, Thomas Cole, Jr.; Auston Cole, Ashly Cole, Heather Cole, Parker Cole, and Serenity Barker.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday, May 4 at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, May 5 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Weisenbach, Craig Weisenbach, Christopher Ursery, Adam Mesenbrink, Seth Weisenbach, Joshua Barker, Skip Buhrmester Alan Hamilton and Jim Gray.
