Gladys Pat Crabtree

Gladys Pat Crabtree, 60, of Jonesboro, died Friday, September 18, 2009, at her home.

Born in Renfro, Mississippi, Pat lived in Houston, Texas before moving to Jonesboro 30 years ago. She worked several years for Dana Corporation in Jonesboro and was a Baptist. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Edward and Lela White Grogan, by a son, Bobby Ray Kirby, and by 2 brothers: Ray and Riley Grogan, and a sister: Shirley Grogan.

Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle and Kenneth Brewer, and Donna and Craig Gage, all of Jonesboro;

8 sisters: Doris Nelson of Jonesboro, Dorothy Grogan of Hardy, JoAnn Callahan of Mississippi, Carolyn Gouveia of Ontario, California, Ellie Dams and Tammy Grogan both of Paragould, Cathy Guy and Joyce Grogan both of Morton, Mississippi;

3 brothers: David and Johnny Grogan of Morton, Mississippi and Woodrow Grogan of Houston, Texas;

9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Matt Kirby, Allen Grogan, Jason Williams, Phil Gatlin and Don Fortenberry.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
