Gladys Morrison

Gladys L. Morrison, 88, of Jonesboro died Thursday February 6, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in Jonesboro on August 5, 1925 to George and Annie Belle Doss.

She had lived in Jonesboro for 12 years, moving here from the Needham and Bay area. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lawson C. Morrison in 2008, parents, brother and 3 sisters.

Survived by her son; L.C. Morrison and wife Leaotta of Prescott, Arizona.

Daughters; Mary Johnston and Paulette Barker and husband John all of Jonesboro.

Grandson; Jason Cottingham.

3 step grandchildren; Cliff Morrison, Darren Morrison and Laura Morrison.

2 great grandchildren; Austin Cottingham and Jon Thomas Cottingham.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday February 7, 2014 at Nettleton Cemetery with Rev. Rick Clark officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

The will be no visitation.
