Gladys M Warren

Gladys M. Warren, 88, of Jonesboro, died Monday, August 31, 2009, at St. Elizabeth’s Place. She had lived in Jonesboro since 1997, moving here from Memphis, Tennessee. She was a volunteer with the Arkansas Mental Health Association. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Warren; son, Charles McCarter Warren; and a sister, Freeda Byrnes.

Gladys is survived by one son, John “Bobby” Warren and wife Saundria, Jonesboro; daughter, Mary Candace Warren, Memphis; sister, Margaret Smith, Nashville, Tennessee; three grandchildren and five great granddaughters.

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 3, 2009, at Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, with John Black officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation.
