Louise Tilley, 90, of Idaho Springs, Colorado, died Monday, February 27, 2006 in Idaho Springs.
Born January 17, 1916, in Jonesboro, she spent the majority of her life in Jonesboro. After losing her vision to Macular Degeneration, she moved to Colorado in 1996 to be near her son and his family.
Louise owned and operated La Vera Beauty School and Salon and Southgate Salon. She was active in scouts with both her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Tilley; her sisters, Alma Harvey, Ellen Lawson, Wilma Griffin and Kathryn Falls; and brothers: Aaron Falls and Frank Falls, Sr.
Survivors include:
1 Daughter and son-in-law: Suzie and Graham Thorley of The Colony, Texas;
1 Son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Sharon Tilley of Idaho Springs, Colorado;
3 Granddaughters: Stacy Webert and husband Ron,
Carrie Tilley, and
Heather Hutto and husband Trygve;
1 Great Grandson: Tyler; and
Several nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.
Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 2006, at 10:30 at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Pat James officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 at Emerson Funeral Home.
