Gladys Juanita Haley, 79, of Jonesboro died Monday January 30, at St Bernard’s Medical Center.
She was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee and had lived in Jonesboro for 4 years, moving here from Parsons, Tennessee. She was a teacher and was a member of The Pentecostal Church in Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hosie Lawrence and Alma Wencie Henry Turner.
Survived by her husband; Jerry Haley of the home.
Sons; Jerry A. Haley of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Clinton B. Haley of Collierville, Tennessee.
Daughters; Sharon Castetter of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Linda Uselton of Jonesboro.
Brothers; Bennie Turner of Memphis, Tennessee and Robert Turner of Collierville, Tennessee.
Sisters; Corrine Cherry of Hernando, Mississippi and Betty Ann Cothan of Lake City, Florida.
8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday February 1, at The Pentecostal Church in Memphis, Tennessee with Pastor Terry Black officiating. Burial will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee.
Active pallbearers; Dustin Haley, Hunter Haley, Christopher Uselton, Russ Wilson, Clay McCullar, Bradley Goff and Robert Leon Haley.
Visitation will be from 10-11:00 A.M. Wednesday at The Pentecostal Church in Memphis, Tennessee.
Family requests that lasting memorial be made to The Pentecostal Church, 4820 S. Germantown Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38141.
