Ginny Todd, 65, of Henderson, died Sunday, May 9, 2010, at the University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock.
Ginny was born February 21, 1945, in Paragould to William and Ollie Murphy. She married Danny Todd on March 30, 1975. She had a son, Mike, and a daughter, Rhonda DeClerk (husband, Rick). Ginny also had five grandchildren; Joseph, Ross, Tori, Reagan, and Lucas, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Perkins.
Ginny lived to work around her house and yard, travel near and far with family and friends, and simply spend time with those she loved. She lived most of her life in Jonesboro, working for several years in the administrative offices of Colson, then for several more as the office manager and bookkeeper for local farmer, Larry Burns, before retiring with Danny to the house they built in Henderson overlooking Lake Norfork.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. both at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. A graveside service will follow at Stranger’s Home Cemetery near Alicia.
