Gerald Govis Wheeley, 65 of Jonesboro died Friday April 14, 2006 at his residence.

He was born in Jonesboro, and had lived most of his life in Jonesboro, having been in Vanderbilt, Texas for 3 years, He was a truck driver for Wheeler Brick in Jonesboro for 32 years and a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church in Melbourne, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl Ray and Virginia Johnson Wheeley and 1 brother Kenneth Wheeley.

David Wheeley – Cuero, Texas

1 Daughter: Debbie Greenway – Jonesboro, AR

3 Brothers: Jacob (Jack) Wheeley – Jonesboro
Eddie Wheeley – Jonesboro
Wayne Wheeley – Cherry Valley, AR

4 Sisters: Helen Oden – Jonesboro
Barbara Hager – Jonesboro
Wanda Pritcher – Jonesboro
Marie Woodard – Jonesboro

Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday April 17, 2006 at the Big Creek Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Gipson officiating. Burial will be private.
