Georgia Carl Sula Cooper
(February 18, 1944 – October 2, 2017)
Georgia Carl Sula Cooper, 73, formerly of Brookland, passed away Monday, October 2, at the Covenant House in Panama City, Florida. She was born on February 18, 1944, to Melvin and Adell (Mercer) Estep in Bragg City, Missouri.
Georgia loved to cook and share her delicious cookies with her many friends and neighbors. She never met a stranger and her passion was for remodeling and decorating. Through the years, she and Don turned many houses into lovely homes. She was a member of the Hiland Park Baptist Church in Panama City, Florida.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Melvin (Bub) Estep and an infant sister, Connie Jewel Estep.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years; Don Cooper of the home.
Sister; Evelyn (Dan) Roberson of Brookland, Arkansas.
Daughter; Jill Cooper of Phoenix, AZ.
Sons; Scott Cooper of Syracuse, Indiana and Shawn Cooper of Phoenix, AZ.
Granddaughters; Ali (Stephen), Lexie and Devi. grandsons; Nathan, Garon, Brice and Kai; and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 7, 2017 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brett Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday October 7, in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Dan Roberson, Brett Roberson, Robert Estep, Tony Estep, Johnny Yankee and Todd Estep.
