George Lee Jackson, 73, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at St Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro Arkansas. He was born January 29, 1947 in Porum, Oklahoma to the late Charlie Jackson and Gladys Pemberton. George was a private in the United States Army. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his many nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed getting his sleep and watching the television.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Troy Jackson.
Survivors include his brother, Andrew Jackson of Jonesboro; and a host of several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
