George Ray Hervey

George Ray Hervey, 67, of Trumann passed from this life Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Trumann on April 22, 1952 to the late Grover Allen and Joyce Loraine Hervey.

George lived all of his life residing in Trumann. He always loved to hunt and fish. Earlier in George’s life he was a mechanic and worked on cars. As he got older he went to work on the farm and continued farm work for many years until he retired.

In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by one great grandchild.

George is survived by his daughter, Tracy Lorraine (Jason) Inchcliff of West Frankfort, IL; two sons, Grover Ray (Becky) Hervey of Percy, IL and Donnie Wayne Hervey of McKinney, TX; brother, Allen Hervey of Springdale, AR; two sisters, Brenda Sheppard of Springdale, AR and Sharon (Rick) Ward of Jonesboro; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
