George Allen Duncan Jr.73, of Tampa, Fl. Passed away Tuesday June 10, 2008 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born in Judd Hill, Arkansas and had lived in Tampa, Florida for 37 years. He was of the Baptist belief and was a U.S. Air Force retired Master Sergeant, where he was an airplane mechanic. He received the good conduct medal and the National Service Defense Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Allen Duncan Sr. and Della May Brooks Duncan, two sons; Ronnie and Donnie Duncan, two brothers; Hobert and Pete Duncan and six sisters; May, Alice, Katherine, June, Bea and Evelyn.
Survived by his loving wife; Joyce Duncan of Agnos, Arkansas.
One son; Wayne Allen Duncan of Agnos.
Two daughters; Sandra Duncan of Cherokee Village, AR. Brenda Webb and her husband Johnny of Jonesboro.
One sister; Joyce Ann Titus of Monticello, Minnesota.
Four grandchildren; Brandon Jones, Gaylon Webb, Valerie Tate, Victoria Simonton.
Two great grandchildren; Braydon Jones and Shianne Webb.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday June 13, 2008 at Nettleton Cemetery with Brother John Travis officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
Active pallbearers will be; Johnny Webb, Gaylon Webb, Brandon Jones, Wayne Duncan, George Pruitt and Ralph Hopkins.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday June 12, 2008 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
