Geneva Burrow

Geneva Burrow, 91, of Jonesboro died Friday October 24, 2014 at the Wood Lawn Nursing Home in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born in Brookland, Arkansas on November 3, 1923 to the late James and Bessie Gilmer Harris. Geneva had lived in Jonesboro since 1994, moving here from McCrory. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Tancel Burrow in 1994 and a son; Jim Burrow.

Survived by her son; Steve Burrow (Karletta) of Jonesboro.

Daughter; Patti Hawkins (Larry) of Batesville, Arkansas.

Sisters; Evelyn Chappel of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Vernice Smith of Jonesboro.

7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M.on Monday October 27, 2014 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ray Broadway officiating. Burial will follow in Lorado Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Monday October 27, at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Pallbearers will be David Smith, Gary Chappell, Matt Townsend, Erin Townsend, Josh Mason and Ben Barnett.

In lieu of flowers family requests that memorials be made to the Lorado Cemetery Fund.
