Gene Adams

Gene Adams, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday August 25, 2024 at his home. He was born July 15, 1955 in Jonesboro to the late Verlon Adams and Etta Adams.

Gene has lived in Jonesboro most of his life and was a member of Grace Community Church. Gene was a mechanic and enjoyed fixing things. He also enjoyed reading and collecting books. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by a son, Carl Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Adams of the home; sons, Bobby Adams, Samuel Adams and Dillon Adams; daughters, Andrea Adams, Angela Adams and Sally Adams. He is also survived by 1 brother, 7 sisters, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday August 30, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Union Grove Cemetery near Bono.
