G.B. Ward

G. B. Ward, 55, of Jonesboro died Saturday morning at his home. He had lived in Jonesboro for 29 years moving from Alabama. G.B. was an avid gardener and loved deer hunting and fishing. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie M. Ward; a brother, James Ward; two sisters, Renee Hicks & Brenda Beatty, and a nephew, Carl Ward.

G.B. is survived by his mother, Jorene Harrell, Jonesboro, and his daughter, Edith Ward. He leaves several brothers and sisters; Harry Ward, Jonesboro; Billy C. Ward, Bono; Larry Ward, Idaho; Wayne Harrell, Missouri; Joe Harrell, Michigan; Ann Doser, Michigan; Loretta Jennings, Jonesboro; Betty Sue Cooper, Jonesboro; Shelia Gosseman, Hot Springs; and 3 grandchildren.

Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will announce a Memorial Service at al later date.
