Gary Lee Yocum

Gary Lee Yocum, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, November 17, 2019 in Mammoth Spring, Ar. He was born to the late Claude and Bonnie Yocum on December 1, 1949 in Sikeston, Missouri.
Gary has resided in Jonesboro since 1994 after coming from Spanish Lake, Missouri. He was a member of Community Fellowship Church. Gary was a member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Order, and Black Iron Gun Range. He was a United States Army Veteran and became a Sergeant in less than 2 years. Gary was an avid hunter. He was a dedicated employee for Lincoln Automotive for 27 years in St. Louis and later relocated to Jonesboro and retired after 7 years.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his brother, Brad Yocum.
Gary is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rella “Jo” Yocum, of the home; daughter, Leslie (Joshua) Dunn of Vichy, MO; grandson, Ezra Phillip Dunn; brother, Phillip W. Yocum of O’Fallon, MO ; and 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
Visitation will be from 9-10 am Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 10 a.m.
Dave Burgess and Chad Wood will be officiating the service. Honorary pallbearers will be the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge #129.
