Gary Saul Welch

Gary Saul Welch, 69, of Lake City passed from this life December 12, 2016 at Lakeside nursing home. He was born on June 9, 1947 to the late Ola Welch and Roberta Cook Welch Williams in Newport.
Gary was of the Baptist belief.  He was a Newport High school graduate and later married Jan Welch on November 17, 1989. Gary was a machines and Master Barber. He was loved by many and he was someone who was about his way from the beginning to the end.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by: one brother, Clifton Welch; and his step-father: Hurvey Williams.
Gary is survived by his wife Jan Welch of the Family home; one daughter: Rebecca (Ben) Barnes of Lake City, Arkansas; one step-daughter: Angela Rob) Suzzann Love of Lake City, Arkansas; four brothers: Donald(Bonnie) Welch of Newport, J.W. (Bernice) Welch of Cave City, Lisley Welch, and Gary’s twin brother Harry(Mary) Welch of Texas; and three grandchildren that he loved so much: Allison Bailey Burch, Jacob Ryan Love, and Abbie Elizabeth Love all of Lake City, Arkansas.

A visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
