Gary Dale Turman

Gary Dale Turman, 68, of Jonesboro passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Gary was born on March 5, 1947 in Bay to the late Donald and Pearl Hill Turman. He lived all his life in NE Arkansas, and he was a member of the Bay United Methodist Church. He loved to watch Cardinal Baseball every opportunity he could. His love for his family and friends will be missed, but never forgotten.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Luke and Olivia Turman; and one brother, Tommy Turman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Bonnie Turman of the home; one son Jerimy Turman and his wife Elizabeth; two grandchildren Will and Ben Turman all of Collierville, TN; one brother, Bob Turman and his wife Billie; one sister, Wanda Russell all of Bay; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Stanley Gulley; and a special friend David Ashlock.

A Memorial service will be at 3pm Saturday afternoon in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Donald Lewert officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 2pm until service in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.
