Gary Roberts Sr.

Gary Roberts Sr. 77, of Jonesboro died Monday, April 18, 2022, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past eight years, moving here from Bald Knob. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Bald Knob. He served his country in the US Army. Gary always enjoyed farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Evelyn Roberts, one sister, Anne Bailey and one brother Wayne Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Phyllis Roberts; sons, Allen Roberts and Charles Roberts; one daughter, Cindy Grommet; sisters, Rebecca Collier, Patsy Jones and Janie Wilson; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Birdeye Military Cemetery in Birdeye, near Cherry Valley, with Father Thomas R. McGee officiating.
