Gary Kibby

Gary Kibby 67, of Bono, passed away on April 28, 2022, at his residence. He was born to the late Neil and Barbara Kibby on June 28, 1954, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking for his family. He was known as a stubborn man with a big heart and care for others. Although he denied his love for cats, his actions proved otherwise. He especially enjoyed the company of his great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one granddaughter April Kibby.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Kibby; sons, Gary Edward Kibby, Terry Lee (Carol) Kibby, and Michael Overfield; daughters, Gwenetta Kibby, Mallory (Chris) West, and Margaret Kaffka; sisters, Gayle Pennington and Sharon Connolly; grandchildren, Mercedes Smith, Cody Hoover, Amanda Smith, Brittany Kibby, Terry Kibby, Quinton Kibby, Lukas Kaffka, Elizabeth Kaffka, Markus Kibby, Chris Elrod, Brandon Elrod, Amara Kibby, Charlotte West, and Maggie West; seven great-grandchildren, with another on the way.

There will be a visitation held at Emerson Memorial Chapel, Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private.
