Gary Lee Hendon

Gary Lee Hendon, 70, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, June 24, 2020, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.  He was born in Walnut Ridge to J. C. and Nella Mae Bradley Hendon.  Gary was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  He was an Administrative Operations Manager at Whole Youth Services Inc.  He had previously retired from Wolverine Worldwide as an Engineer.  He enjoyed reading books, and collected antiques. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Nicholas.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Margie Hendon, of the home; daughters, Teresa Robinson (Anthony) of Newport; Linda Fleming (Mark) of Jonesboro; sister, Linda Boling (Gary) of Portia; grandchildren, Eric Robinson (Kelli) of Morrilton; John Robinson (Brittany) of Jonesboro; great grandchildren, Cohen Robinson, Ty Robinson, Brooks Robinson, and Bo Robinson; nephews, Brad Hendon, Chris Nicholas (Jamie) and Matt Nicholas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Blessed Sacrament with Father Alphonse officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with Eric Robinson, John Robinson, Chris Nicholas, Matt Nicholas, Rennell Woods and Danny Gary serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 6-7:00 at Blessed Sacrament with a Rosary starting at 7:00 on Friday.
