Gary Wayne Baney

Gary Wayne Baney, 63, of Jonesboro, died Saturday December 11, 2010 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born in Alicia, Arkansas and lived in Jonesboro most of his life.
He was a retired carpenter and he trust and believe Jesus to be his savior. He loved stock car racing, fishing and his family, especially his grandson Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Lemon and Glenna George Baney.

Survived by his loving wife of 39 years; Vickey Baney of the home.

Son; Bryan Baney of Jonesboro and daughter; Kim Maxwell of Jonesboro.

Three brothers; Bob Baney of Ward, Arkansas, John Baney of Jonesboro and Carroll Baney of Jonesboro.

Two sisters; Virginia Haag of Ottumwa, Iowa and Janice McMasters of Melbourne, Arkansas.

One grandson; Tyler Maxwell.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday December 14, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Don Vuncannon officiating.
Burial will be at Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Scott, Theron, Aaron and Jeff Baney, Bryan Helton and Mark Whitmire.

Honorary pallbearers will be Teddy Hall, Steve Johnson and Bobby Carr.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Monday December 13, at Emerson Funeral Home.

Family requests that lasting memorials be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, 1021 New Hope Lane, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72404
