Gary Dale Ackerman, 71, of Jonesboro died Wednesday December 8, at his fiancé residence. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan and had lived in Jonesboro his lifetime. He was a retired auto body repairman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harold and Marion Gage Ackerman and 2 cousins.
Survived by his daughter; Deborah Ackerman Johnson of Gilmer, Texas.
3 grandchildren; Alicia Rodriguez, Amanda Jager and Joshua Cooley. Four great grandchildren.
All services will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
