Garry G. Cobb

Garry G. Cobb, 65, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Garry was born on April 26, 1951 in Jonesboro to the late Max and Barbara Smith Cobb. He was a graduate of the Lake City High School class of 1969. As a kid growing up in Lake City he worked on the family farm know as Cobb and Sons Farms, and he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and Order of the Arrow. After high school he joined the National Guard. He moved to California in 1977 and later moved back to Jonesboro in 1996. While he lived out in California he built custom hotrods, and in Jonesboro he had his own shop where he worked as a mechanic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Cobb; and one sister, Deneen Cobb.

He is survived by his daughter, Candice Seaborn and her husband Jamie of Jonesboro; one brother, Tim Cobb of Hurricane Mills, TN; two grandchildren, Jodie and Christian Seaborn both of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.
