Garrison Leon Moody, 59, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Garrison was born on September 26, 1952 in Sitka, Arkansas to the late James and Ruby Moody. He was married to the late Judy Renay Moody. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and grilling. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren every opportunity he received. He loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include his sons, Sam Moody of Jonesboro, and Matt Moody of Pocahontas; five brothers, Dale, William, James, Randall, and Delbert Moody; three sisters, Belva Prater, Betty Louy, Vickie Lykins; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ronnie, David, Gabriel, and Kendra, and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Cleburne, Ronnie, and Ricky Moody; and one sister, Connie Henson.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Donald Stallings, Richard Shelby, Kerry Kee, Jason Lammers, Richie Shelby, and Danny Bowles.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00p.m. on Friday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Randall Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
