Garold Garry Casey

Garold “Garry” L. Casey, 78, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital.  He had lived in Jonesboro for over 30 years. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 14, 1947, to Harrell D. “Pat” and Genevieve Irene Casey.  He served his country and retired from the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. Photography was his hobby, and he was an accomplished photographer, having performed many weddings and other special events.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Ruble and Mattie Casey, one brother, Patrick, and one daughter, Heather.

Survivors include his wife, Kwi Chul, of the home; son, Shawn D. Casey and wife, Adelle of Plano, Texas; daughters, Laura L. Diamond and husband Kevin; Pamela I. Popejoy of Memphis; brother, Larry Casey of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Rachel and Jaxson.
