Gardner Boyd Dowdle

Gardner Boyd Dowdle had a heart attack on Wednesday, July 13 ^th , 2022 and shortly thereafter  passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 53.

Gardner is survived by his mother, Lou Ellen Dowdle of Jonesboro, AR and by his older brother Lee Scott Dowdle, of Belgrade, MT.

Gardner was born in Memphis, TN in 1968. He graduated from Kingsbury High School in 1986 and went on to earn a B.S. from the University of Memphis.  He was self-employed and in his later years dedicated his life to taking care of his ill mother in his residence.

Gardner enjoyed cooking, gardening, and Internet collaboration.  He was a devout Christian and was often known to bring others into the fold.

He will be cremated and a private ceremony will be held with immediate family members in his mother’s nursing home.
