Gala June Reed

Gala June (Huggins) Reed, 63 of Jonesboro died Tuesday July 4, 2006 at the Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

She was born in Rector, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro for 16 years, moving from Rector. She was of the Baptist belief and was a Registered Nurse Practitioner for Memphis Veterans Administration Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Orly and Pauline Medlin Huggins.

Survivors include:

Son and Daughter-In-Law: Michael and Jeannie Price of Paragould, Arkansas;

Daughter: Michelle Triggs and her boyfriend Harvey Johnson of Alpharetta, Georgia;

Three Grandchildren: Brian and Dusty Brown and Shaine Keasler;

Three Great Grandchildren: Tracon, Tessa, and Branden Brown.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 8, 2006 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kevin Abbott officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 Friday July 7, 2006 at the Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
