Gail Oesterblad

Gail Ann Oesterblad, 71, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on December 16, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 20, 1950, to the late Walter and Martha Steinbrenner, and moved to Jonesboro with her family in 1990. Gail was a very quiet and private individual, but that did not keep her from enjoying playing card games and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cats, raising a garden, reading, and traveling. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Oesterblad; and one sister, Donna Hester.

Survivors include her two daughters, Denyc (William) Yarbrough and Denay (Chad) Duckworth; siblings, Lee (Mary) Steinbrenner and Vivian (Donald) Pohlmann; Four grandchildren; Tyler Hoskins, Destiny Duckworth, Lennon Yarbrough, Emmalyn Yarbrough.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church (2932 Wood St. Jonesboro, AR, 72404) with Roseann Askeland.

A private burial will take place at Birdeye Cemetery, Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 am.
