Gail Holder

Gail Holder, 73, of Jonesboro passed away Friday, June 6, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born February 7, 1947 in Pocahontas to the late Louie and Eva Holder. Gail was a founding member and a former Elder at Valley View Church of Christ. He owned and operated his own business, Technical Consultants Inc. for 23 years from 1995-2018. Gail enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and camping. Most of all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Gail was preceded in death by his sister, Alma Louise Holder.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Brenda Holder of the home; son, Jeremy (Kasey) Holder of Jonesboro; daughter, Julie (Ed) Butterworth of Jonesboro; sister, Daphene (John) Heern of Jonesboro; 7 grandchildren: Keaton Holder, Kendall Holder, Kaylee Adkins, Molly Adkins, Avery Adkins, Davis Butterworth and Madison Butterworth all of Jonesboro; 1 great grandchild, Beckett Butterworth of Jonesboro and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Spencer Furby and Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.

The latest Arkansas Health Department Directives for large gatherings in the state allows Emerson Funeral Home Chapel to accommodate a maximum of 150 persons simultaneously. Face coverings must be worn to enter the building and social distancing will be in effect.
