Freeman Highfill Sr.

Freeman Highfill Sr., 88, of Jonesboro passed from this life of Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on August 28, 1926 in Salem, Arkansas to the late Robert and Anna Highfill. Freeman was of the Baptist belief and retired from the Jonesboro Public Schools. He enjoyed joking around, working on lawnmowers, and fishing. Freeman is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Highfill. Brothers; Leamon Highfill, Perry Highfill, and Ira Highfill. Sisters; Elmari Tobe, Merle Hatch,and Oletha
Highfill. And one grandchild.

Freeman is survived by his two sons; Freeman Highfill Jr. and Mark Highfill both of Jonesboro. Daughters; Nancy Elliot Highfill of Truman and Rebecca Highfill Wren of Jonesboro. He is leaving behind eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
