Freddy Allen “Big Daddy Fleetwood” Adams, 56, of Bono, passed from this life on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his home. He was born in Jonesboro on August 3, 1967, to Vercieal and Nell Adams. He lived most of his life in the Jonesboro and Bono area. He was of the Pentecostal belief. Big Daddy Fleetwood, was ½ of the world-famous Cadillac Brothers. He is being inducted into the ASWF (Wrestling) Hall of Fame in Tuckerman on Saturday, April 13 2024. Allen was a carpenter by trade and a wrestler by choice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Kelly Sorter; two brothers, one sister and one niece.
Survivors include his brothers, Rickey Adams and wife Lynn; Kenneth Gum; sister, Shera Adams, all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Cage, Hayden, Riley and Gabe; nephew/son, Brody “Beer up” Jay and daughter and caregiver, Connie Doubleday; niece, Lauri Montgomery, Nellie McMurry.
A memorial service will be 4:00 Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Renewed Full Gospel Church with Brother Joe Guthrie officiating and under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
