Freda "Sweetpea" Jolly

Freda (Sweetpea) Jolly, 72, of Jonesboro passed from this life Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Marmaduke on March 13, 1942 to the late Paul and Linie Tyner. Sweetpea loved shopping, sewing, singing, and loved people. She loved all her grandchildren and loved to have tea parties with her great grandchildren.

Sweetpea is survived by her loving husband of 54 years: Jerry Jolly of Jonesboro. Son: Terry (Kandi) Jolly of Jonesboro. Daughter: Cathy (Paul) King of Jonesboro. Brother: Sterling Tyner of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Sisters: Ethel Merrill of North Carolina, Bertis Sanford of Jonesboro, and Deborah Gleich of Cornith, Mississippi. Grandchildren: Gabbi Jolly, Brad King (Kasandra), and Josh King (Brittany). Great grandchildren: Emma Claire King and Collins King.

Funeral service will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jerry Jolly officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will also be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Active Pallbearers will be Brad King, Josh King, Keith Dooley, Brenton Dooley, Jimmy Philamlee, and Jeff Sanford.

Visitation will be held at Emerson Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
