Franklin "Soo" Carruth

Franklin Lemuel “Soo” Carruth, 59, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at his home of natural causes.

Born in Leachville, Franklin lived much of his life in the Jonesboro area. He worked 25 years for Riceland Foods of Jonesboro and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents: Franklin and Elsie White Carruth; sister: Shirley Parnell; and brother: Carl Parnell.

Survivors include:

His Wife: Mary Jane Arnold Carruth of the home;

1 Daughter and Son-in-law: Elizabeth and Joey Troutman of Jonesboro;

1 Sister: Ellen McCann of Magnolia;

4 Brothers: Terry Joe Parnell of Florida,
Eddie Carruth of Manila,
Elgie Carruth of Little Rock, and
Eugene Carruth of Jonesboro; and

2 Grandchildren: Brittney Arnold and Brandon Troutman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brian Rookey officiating. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery near Cash.

Pallbearers include: Bryant Carmichael, Brooks Carmichael, Michael Hawkins,
Jimmy Platz, Ronnie Rackstraw, and Brandon Wall.

Visitation will be held 6-8 Friday evening at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
