Franklin “Frank” Mathieu Martin, 65, of Jonesboro went home to Heaven on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born May 19, 1960 in Frankfurt, Germany to Joseph Thomas Martin and Mary Caputo Martin.
Frank moved from Chapman, Kansas to Jonesboro in 1979 and attended Refuge Church of the Assemblies of God. Frank was known as a talented man, in all aspects life, especially singing and his handywork. He loved everyone, never passed judgement, was a father to many, and had an endless and unique sense of humor. Frank was a veteran of the United States Air Force, an avid Arkansas State Red Wolves fan, loved going to the lake as well as hunting, and fishing. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He owned a wrestling company, where he was known as “Big Money” and also founded Mobile Radiology Services Inc. in 1996.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Martin and Mary Martin as well John Warner and Mary Warner; a son, Franklin Mathieu Martin II and a brother, Joseph Thomas “Buddy” Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Martin; son, Anthony (Allison) Martin; daughter, Quincey (Brody) Martin (Bearden); brother, David (Susan) Clay; sisters, Karen Walker and Charlene Danley; grandchildren, Tony, Libbey and Hudson as well as a numerous host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 7, 2026 at Emerson Funeral Home.
A celebration of Frank’s life will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Matt Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers include Anthony Martin, Brody Bearden, David Clay, Bill Swint, Blake Simpkins, Tom Graham, Alex Trufin and Kevin Barber. Honorary Pallbearers include Frank’s grandchildren, Tony, Libbey and Hudson, David “Preach” Jacobson, Scott “Cannon” Cambron, Terrance Ward, Luke Mathison, Jim Sterns, Dr. Frank Love, DJ Rogers, Les Jackson, Aaron Jackson, Justin Cook, Matt Judd, David Prince, Ethan King, Michael King, Al Clark, Paul Clark, Tyler Clark, Reginald Mansker, Justin Tittle and Marice Murray.
