Franklin Delano Buckelew

Mr. Franklin D. Buckelew 87, beloved father departed this life for his heavenly home on May 17, 2022.
Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, which allowed him the education to become a part of the Core of Engineers. However, more than anything Frank loved the Lord.
He was a faithful servant and Deacon of the Central Community Church. Where he and his late wife led the Children’s ministry for several years. He enjoyed traveling, but most of all he loved to spending time with his family, especially watching a good football game. Frank also loved cattle farming and many days could be found at his farm tending to his cattle and land.
Frank was married to his  lifelong sweetheart Sara Jane for 64 years before she passed away in 2020, but they are now reunited in their heavenly home.

Frank is survived by his 4 children. Franklin Buckelew Jr. (Denise), Pam Wileman (Steve), Jonathan Buckelew (Tammy), Sherry Seabaugh. His grandchildren, Shannon Buckelew (Amanda), Nina (Josh), Travis Dixon (Meg), Meagan Jernigan (Jordon), Malcolm Buckelew, Tosha Rouse (Ben), Lindsey Ashlock (Michael), Chelsey Barnett (Sye), Autumn Seabaugh and Mollye Buckelew. Great-grandchildren, Alexis, Camryn, Hunter, Makenzie, Kayson, Grayson, Carter, Aiden, Delaney, JoLeigh, and Violet. Great- Great Grandchildren include Kamden and Owen. Special Friend Katie Buckelew.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, his wife Sara Jane, his daughter Susan Coggins, and his grandchildren Rachel and Kris Coggins. As well as a host of dearly loved friends and church family.

Visitation is to take place on Thursday, May 19, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Central Community Church. Funeral service to be held Friday, May 20th at 1:00 pm with graveside services to follow.
