Frankie E. Rook Sullivan

Frankie E. Rook Sullivan, 47, of Jonesboro died at her residence on Thursday, November 10, 2011 after a long battle with cancer.

Frankie was born January 16, 1964 to Joe and Joyce Hall Goforth in Jonesboro, and she has been a lifetime resident in Jonesboro, and is a member of the Woodsprings Baptist Church. She has worked for the Jonesboro Country Club for 25 years, and one of her job titles included Club General Manager. She was also a member of the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Edna West.

Survivors include her husband, David Sullivan of the home; one son, Eric and his wife Nichole Rook of Jonesboro; one daughter, Katrina and her husband Aaron Riggin of Jonesboro, three step sons Hunter and Tanner Sullivan of Huntsville, AL, and Tyler Sullivan of Dothan, AL; parents, Joe and Joyce Goforth of Jonesboro; a brother, Billy Ray and his wife Jackie Holland of Jonesboro; a sister Karen Rena Holland of Jonesboro; grandfather, J.C. West of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Jackson and MaKenzie Rook.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Cannon Holland, Leon Lloyd, Keith Hendrix DDS, Daniel Smith, Ron Harmon, and Denver Ferguson.


Honorary pallbearers are the staff and board of directors of the Jonesboro Country Club, Dr. Michael Tedder, Dr. John Lynch, Dr. Meredith Walker, and Dr. Allen Nixon.

Funeral Service will be at 10am on Monday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Glen Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Strawfloor Cemetery in Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Family asks for memorials to be given to the American Cancer Society, 1205 S. Madison Street Jonesboro, AR 72401, in memory of Frankie E. Rook Sullivan.
